Jones Jr vs Trinidad
Trinidad starts the matchup the busier fighter. For the first three rounds all the action is dictated by Trinidad as Jones lays in wait. While Trinidad may be the more active fighter it is a highly unproductive action. By the fourth round Jones picks up the pace and starts with his jab. As the rounds proceed Jones speed and power are becoming more of a factor at halting the game plan of Trinidad and by the seventh Trinidad is dropped. Trinidad recovers by the eighth and both fighters throw a series of shots with little outcome. From here on out Jones takes control of the match and leaves little for Trinidad to hit. Jones is back in his prime form again and doesn't look back. The fight goes the distance and Jones wins the unanimous decision easily.
